These rules apply inside the game world and on all official Darknestia channels (website, forum, chat). Every account holder is responsible for all characters on the account.
The punishments listed below are the standard measures – the team may soften or harden them depending on how serious the case is and whether it is a repeated offence. A punishment recorded on one character reflects on the whole account.
Warning official notice recorded on the account.
Banishment temporary lock of the account (usually 7–30 days).
Deletion permanent removal of the account and all its characters.
Name lock the character cannot log in until the name is changed.
1.Character and guild names
a)Improper name format
Names made of sentences or phrases (guild names excepted), broken formatting, random or unreadable letter sequences, names imitating another player or an official position ("Admin", "Tutor", "GM Xyz").

b)Offensive name
Names that insult, are racist, sexual, harassing or otherwise objectionable.

c)Name used as advertising
Names that promote other servers, brands, products, services or trades for real money.
Punishment:Name lock until the name is changed; the incident is noted on the account
d)Name encouraging rule violations
Names that support, announce or suggest breaking the Darknestia rules.

2.Statements (chat, private messages, forum, character comments)
a)Spamming
Repeating the same or similar messages, flooding channels, nonsensical or badly formatted text, using public channels for private conversations.

b)Offensive statements
Insults, racism, sexual content, harassment or other objectionable statements towards anyone.

c)Off-topic public statements
Political or religious statements and any content unrelated to the purpose of the channel or board it is posted on.

d)Disclosing personal data
Publishing real names, addresses, photos, contact data or any other personal information of another person.

e)Advertising
Promoting other servers, third-party brands, products or services, real-money trades, or posting links to such content. Advertising in channels not meant for it (e.g. trade offers on Game-Chat) also counts.

f)Damaging the server's reputation
Spreading false information about Darknestia, running smear campaigns, or any organised action whose goal is to drive players away from the server.

g)Hostility towards other players
Systematic harassment: forcing others to act under threat of punishment, extortion, or attacking players with the sole intent of ruining their game and emptying the server. Normal PvP, wars and revenge killings are part of the game and are not covered by this rule.

h)Threats towards the team
Threatening, insulting or blackmailing members of the Darknestia team, or impersonating them.

3.Cheating
a)Unofficial software
Modifying the official client, using bots, cavebots, macros, auto-clickers, taskers, packet tools or any other program that plays or assists in playing for you – as well as pretending to cheat to mislead others. Only the official Darknestia client is allowed.

b)Bug abuse
Knowingly exploiting errors of the game or any of our services (map bugs, duplication, broken quests, exploits) instead of reporting them.

c)Multi-clienting
Playing more than one character at the same time – multiple clients, virtual machines, remote sessions, or having someone else operate your second character for you.

4.Trading
a)Trading game items for real money
Selling, buying or attempting to trade items, gold, characters or services from Darknestia for real money, goods from outside the game or currency of other servers.

b)Account trading and sharing
Giving your account data to other players, accepting account data from others, selling or "lending" accounts and characters. The only allowed way of transferring a character is through the official services on this website (when available).

c)Trading premium points
Selling or attempting to sell Darknestia premium points for real money or outside the official services of the server.

7.Other abuses
a)Hacking and account theft
Stealing or attempting to steal accounts, passwords or personal data of other players, phishing, distributing malicious software.

b)Attacks on the infrastructure
Any attempt to disrupt the server, the website or other players' connection (DDoS, flooding, exploiting the network protocol).
